19. Targa Florio 1924 The last test run_fullThe Targa Florio was an open road endurance automobile race held in the mountains of Sicily near Palermo.

In 1923 Alfa Romeo had its first victory at the 14th  international race Targa Florio with theire RL. RL was the first Alfa Romeo with the green cloverleaf.  Originally it was for bringing luck to the superstitious Ugo Sivocco when he got the startnumber 13. Since then the cloverleaf has been the symbol of a lot of Alfa Romeo’s.
